Tour Sirmione, Lazise, Punta San Vigilio, Torri del Benaco, Malcesine, Mount Baldo
We’ll welcome the day with a fascinating walking tour along the peninsula of Sirmione. Then we’ll visit Lazise, a small village still within the medieval walls, with a lovely old harbour, the church of San Nicolò and the medieval castle built by the Della Scala family. We’ll stop in the gulf of Garda to admire the romantic beauty of Punta San Vigilio, an enchanting angle of paradise with its tiny harbour, the old lemon greenhouse and the old tavern. We’ll make a promenade in Torri Del Benaco, interesting for its XIV century castle with a big greenhouse full of centenary lemon trees and the Hotel Gardesana, which was the palazzo where the Captain assembled the Gardesana Council. In Malcesine we’ll visit the magnificent castle of the Della Scalas situated high on a rocky hill near the lake and its interesting museum. Then, walking through narrow old cobbled streets, we’ll admire the lake from the Captains Palazzo. Next we’ll live the strong emotion of having a breathtaking panoramic view of the lake from an altitude of 1800 meters going on top of Mount Baldo by cable cars with fully rotating cabins!
