Duration of the tour: 3-4 hours.
We will visit the symbolic places of the present and past history of Verona such as the Arena and Piazza Bra square, Juliet’s balcony, Piazza Erbe square, Piazza dei Signori square, Castelvecchio and Scaliger Bridge, the Scaliger Tombs, Romeo’s house, the stone bridge and the Roman Theatre.
During the tour we will pause to peek at the windows of the cafes and shops that sell typical food products from Verona with a stop in a wine shop where I will tell you the secrets of the local red and white wines and the legends related to our typical products.
We will then continue our excursion with joy after tasting local wines, cold cuts, cheese and typical sweets of Verona.
#2 BACCHUS + wine and food tasting in Valpolicella
Duration of the tour: 5-8 hours.
We will visit the symbolic places of the present and past history of Verona such as the Arena and Piazza Bra square, Juliet’s balcony, Piazza Erbe square, Piazza dei Signori square, Castelvecchio and Scaliger Bridge, the Scaliger Tombs, Romeo’s house, the stone bridge and the Roman Theatre,
then we’ll move to Valpolicella region (with your car / bus or NCC driver; about half an hour driving from Verona city centre) to visit a cellar and taste the great red wines of that famous region. I will tell you all the secrets about the red Valpolicella wines and about the famous Amarone wine.
#3 BACCHUS + wine and food tasting in Soave and visit of the castle of Soave
Duration of the tour: 6-8 hours.
After visiting the symbolic monuments of Verona such as the Arena and Piazza Bra square, Juliet’s balcony, Piazza Erbe square, Piazza dei Signori square, Castelvecchio and Scaliger Bridge, the Scaliger Tombs, Romeo’s house, the stone bridge and the Roman Theatre,
we will head to Soave (with your car/bus or NCC driver) to visit the beautiful Castle of Soave and a local cellar, where we will taste the typical white wines of the area and I will explain everything about these famous wines.
